Bolney is one of Sussex's pioneers in helping to establish English sparkling wine.
Over 50 years ago, Bolney Wine Estate in Haywards Heath, West Sussex, was founded by British wine pioneers Janet and Rodney Pratt. They planted grape varieties that thrive in the cool South Downs climate and well-draining sandstone soils. Established in 1972, the estate has grown into one of England’s most beautiful wine estates. Today, the team produces award-winning still and sparkling wines — from the renowned Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris to the classic Bolney Bubbly and Blanc de Blancs.
